In fact, the 12 passenger Banana Taxi was specially designed with the commercial operator in mind. This product can be used as a 12 passenger banana boat ride or to transport people and equipment to a remote destination. The Banana Taxi includes the Island Hopper™ "Heavy Commercial" reinforced 40 ounce 1100 denier, UV resistant PVC material. This is a dense puncture resistant material, commonly used in the manufacture of high quality white water boats. This variation on the inline sleds used one giant sled (tube) shaped like a "V" to create the sides of the boat. The sled tube is hand made using glue bonded overlapping seams and are double reinforced in the high stress - hard use areas. The same heavy material is used to create an inflatable floor. Thousands of these durable banana boats have been sold to camps, commercial beach operations and resorts worldwide.
