Product Use
- Why does the product dive under water when towing?
Use a proper towing bar or attachment that is higher above the water. Be sure to inflate the product properly. Do not tow at high speeds – over 18 mph. Do not tow with more than the recommended number of passengers for the product in question. Keep riders towards the back of the hull when riding. Never tow without the cover.
- Why is the cover poorly aligned over valve/ cupholders?
Occasionally the inner bladder can shift inside the cover while deflated, causing poor alignment of bladder/ cover. Partially deflate the bladder and reposition before re-inflating.
- Can I use the Aquaglide slide alone?
The Aquaglide slide needs a large stable base such as the Airport or Lanai. It is not possible to use the slide safely without attaching it firmly to the Airport or Lanai, which are specifically designed to do so.
- Why are there wrinkles in the fabric cover?
Aquaglide inflatibles require a lot of pressure in order to work properly. Keep pumping until most of the wrinkles are out of the cover and the material is tight. It takes more than you think! Most Aquaglide inflatables require about 2.3 – 2.5 p.s.i.. The cover should be quite firm, yet still give a bit when walked upon.
- Why is air leaking from the valve?
Most Aquaglide products use a Rapid-inflate valve system. Once adequate pressure fills the bladder, air pressure will close the valve flap, preventing rapid outflow of air. Once adequate pressure is reached, be sure to carefully seat the cap and close the valve completely to seal. In special instances, your Aquaglide product may require a Boston valve. In this case, make sure that the valve is screwed tightly to the valve insert and that the black seal is in place. If there is not a tight fit, air can leak out of the valve area. If the valve is old or defective, order a replacement Boston valve.
- Why is the hull not stable to stand on?
Ensure that you have inflated your Aquaglide product completely. This means inflating until it’s very firm. Most Aquaglide inflatables require about 2.3 – 2.5 p.s.i..
- What is the correct pressure to properly inflate my Aquaglide product?
The product should be firm, with most wrinkles out of the cover. To ensure against over-inflation use only Aquaglide brand pumps. Most Aquaglide inflatables require about 1.3 – 1.5 p.s.i.. Never use a compressor or the air hose at a gas station! Do not leave inflated items out in hot sun/ hot beach for extended periods of time while fully inflated. Let a little air out of the bladder and inflate again before use if needed.

Care and Repair
- What is the best way to store my Aquaglide product?
Whenever possible, rinse your Aquaglide product with fresh water and dry thoroughly before deflating. Deflating with the use of an electric pump is the best way to remove all remaining air in the bladder. Fold and flat-roll toward the valve, pushing air out as you go. For best results, store in a cool, dry location, away from sun exposure.
- Is salt water OK for my Aquaglide product?
Aquaglide products are designed for use in both fresh and salt water. However, extended use in salt water can reduce the life of your product. Whenever possible, rinse your Aquaglide product with fresh water and dry thoroughly before storing in a cool, dry location.

- How can I locate and patch a slow leak?
Aquaglide inflatible products are made of a heavy-duty 26 gauge PVC bladder, surrounded by high quality 600 denier polyester cover. Each inflatible item comes with a patch kit for both the cover and the bladder. Use the zipper access in the cover to remove the inner bladder from the cover. To find a slow leak, inflate the item in question and cover with soapy water. You’ll easly find the point of a slow leak by locating the area where soap bubbles appear. Clean & dry the area in question and use the PVC patch kit to stop the leak. Once patched, return the inner bladder to the protection of the cover, and inflate.

- How can I patch a cut?
Aquaglide inflatible products are made of a heavy-duty 26 gauge PVC bladder, surrounded by high quality 600 denier polyester cover. Each inflatible item comes with a small patch kit for both the cover and the bladder. Use the zipper access in the cover to remove the inner bladder from the cover. Clean & dry the area in question and use the PVC patch kit to repair the bladder. Use the polyester patch to repair the cover. If the size of the cut makes it impossible to use the provided kit for repairs, you may need to purchase a replacement bladder/ cover, or may need to take the cover to an authorized sail loft for repairs. Once bladder and cover are patched, return the inner bladder to the protection of the cover, and inflate.

Aquaglide Multisport
- How do I assemble the Multisport mast?
Make sure that the Largest tube is on the bottom, the second largest in the middle and the smallest on the top. Each mast piece should rest on the grooves embedded in the tube.
- Where should I attach the Multisport boom?
Place the Multisport boom at shoulder level or below. The boom slides onto the upper part of the bottom section of the mast and rests on the rubber o-ring. Be sure to use the additional locking sleeve to pre-set the boom position and prevent slipping.
- The Multisport boom seems too short for the sail, what can I do?
The Multisport boom is adjustable, and comes collapsed to it’s smallest size for shipping. To adjust, use the spring pins near the back of the boom to release and slide the tail piece outward. Snap the spring pins into the outward (longest) holes when using the standard sail. Compress for transport.
- The Multisport mast separates from the mast base, what can I do?
Make sure you have enough tension on the downhaul strap that attaches the bottom of the sail to the mast base. Loop it around the black fitting and cinch it very tight. There should be no wrinkles in the sail.
- The Multisport fins are loose in the holes or slip out while sailing, what can I do?.
Make sure that the fins are securely pushed down inside the fittings in the hull. Check to see that no oils or suntan lotion are on the fin shafts. Be certain to loop the short elastic cover catch into the small hook in each fin. DO NOT use any soap on the fin shafts.
- Multisport mast foot comes unscrewed from the mast step while windsurfing, what can I do?
Make sure that the Multisport mast foot is screwed down completely. Leash the mast foot properly in place. See the owners manual for proper installation of the mast foot leashes. Make sure that the mast foot is tightly secured to the board on each side with both leashes, and there is no space between the mast foot and insert. The mast foot should spin freely, but there should be no extra space.
- The Multisport mast pieces are stuck together, what can I do?
Some types of sand can cause mast sections to jam together if the board and rig are left in the water. Don’t leave the rig sitting on the sandy shore. To separate jammed mast pieces, dry the mast and get several friends to twist and pull the pieces apart.
- The Multisport boom slides down mast, what can I do?
Some oils and suntan lotions make the mast very slippery and allow the boom to slide down. To correct this, wash the bottom mast section and o-ring in soapy water. Be sure to use the additional locking sleeve to pre-set boom position and lock it into place.
- The Multisport fins are difficult to insert, what can I do?
Use a gentle rocking motion when inserting the fins and try inserting them with 80% inflation. DO NOT use any lubricant or soap on the fin tubes, or they will fall out while sailing!
- The Multisport Sailboat Rig falls down while sailing in strong winds, what can I do?
It is very important to attach the rig correctly while using the sailboat option. Make sure that the hull is fully inflated so that there are no more wrinkles in the cover. Make sure there is enought downhaul pressure on the sail to the hull. Make sure there that the 3 webbing tensions straps that hold the rig in place are very tight. Call or email Aquaglide customer service for additional information if necessary.
- The Multisport Sailboat rig does not stand up straight, what can I do?
Make sure that the hull inside the cover is fully inflated so that the material is tight and there are no wrinkles. It’s easier to have someone help hold the rig while you are tightening the straps. Place the bottom of the mast into the recessed groove on the hull fitting. Tighten the webbing straps evenly on all three sides so that the rig is straight and does not move. Tighten them a little at a time until you reach a good balance.
- The Multisport Sailboat tiller screws are loose, what can I do?
Remove screws. Use a strong waterproof glue inside the threads of the screw, and screw tightly back together.
- I’m having trouble with balance when windsurfing on the Multisport, what can I do?
Try to start out kneeling. Move the boom to a lower position and kneel while sailing. This makes it much easier to balance. Once you feel comfortable kneeling, stand up. The Mutlisport is designed for use in light winds and relatively flat water. Wavy / choppy water found on extremely large lakes, oceans, and/or in high wind conditions may prohibit learning.
